Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer. This position requires an individual with great attention to detail, the ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently as well as a member of a team. This role will be responsible for monitoring and supporting our client production environments, investigating and resolving system issues, some customer technical support as well as data analysis and some development tasks. The candidate must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, outstanding customer service skills, and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic, motivated candidate to join up with a small organization that actually gets things done.

Minimum requirements

• Very strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interface well with both software developers as well client analysts
• Top-notch organizational and prioritization skills
• 2+ Years related experience, including some direct client interaction
• Exceptional problem solving skills, including data analysis
• Possess strong SQL skills (preferably Oracle)
• Unix / Linux scripting experience (Perl, Shell, Python)
• Experience with UNIX / Windows administration and support
• Flexibility with regards to after-hours and weekend work as needed
