John Greaves

With a unique combination of business strategy consulting and marketing analytics, John Greaves brings a wide range of experience accumulated during a 12-year consulting career to addressing the needs of Pluris clients.

Applying his expertise in data mining and statistical analysis, consumer behavior modeling and segmentation, John has helped companies in Media and Communications, Health Care, and Financial Services improve the way they market to and interact with their consumers. His clients have seen material gains in the productivity of their marketing efforts by better aligning critical aspects of the offer mix, including the way product and services are bundled at various price points, the channels and media that are used to market them, and how competitive market factors are taken into consideration.

John has extensive experience in development of targeting tools for the purposes of customer acquisition, up-sell and cross-sell, retention, churn, bad-debt risk and customer near-term value potential. He has helped clients manage hundreds of active targeting tools and predictive models at a time, normalizing the predictive attributes across those models in unique combinations in order to optimize the way a consumer is engaged at any potential touch point.

Prior to joining Pluris, John served as a Manager, Marketing Analytics and Data Mining for AT&T Broadband (now part of Comcast), as a Consultant in the Clinical Management Consulting Group at Kaiser Permanente, and as a Market Research Analyst with PacifiCare. John received his MBA from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University and his BA in Economics from the University of Utah.
