Board Members


Richard L. Essex, Board Member


Rick Essex is a Principal of Providence based in Providence, RI. He is currently a Director of Decision Resources, Newport Television, Pluris and Survey Sampling International. Prior to joining Providence in 2003, Rick was a Vice President of BCI Partners, where he focused on middle market broadcasting and business services investments. Prior to this endeavor, he served as an Analyst in corporate finance at Dillon Read and as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen. Rick received a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Washington and Lee University.

Robert Kamerschen, Board Member


Robert "Kam" Kamerschen is a highly experienced change leader who has held senior executive positions with Chanel, Max Factor, and RKO/Six Flags Entertainment. He has managed marketing executive assignments for Dunkin' Donuts, Revlon, and Scott Paper, and is the former Chairman and CEO of ADVO, Inc., a direct marketing services firm. Kam currently serves as Chairman of Survey Sampling International, a supplier of survey samples to the global market research industry. He is a director for three public companies: IMS Health Inc, MDC Partners, Inc., and R.H. Donnelley Corporation, who presently sits on Halyard Capital's advisory board and several private equity-backed private company boards. Kam has previously served in a Committee Chairmanship role with 11 other public companies.

Scott M. Marimow, Board Member


Scott Marimow is a Vice President of Providence based in Providence, RI. Currently, Scott is a Director of Pluris and Newport Television. Prior to joining Providence in 2004, he had been an Analyst in Deutsche Bank's media investment banking group. Scott received a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
